In the modern society, life is becoming very complex and conflicting day by day. If a person is well adjusted only then one can survive without psychological stress resulting from maladjustment. Generally adolescence is believed to be a period of great stress and storm as rapid physical as well as mental changes occur during this period. In the present study an attempt has been made to understand the adjustment problems of tribal school going adolescents in relation to their gender and type of institution. The investigator selected a sample of 320 senior secondary school students studying classes 10+1 and 10+2 in different institutions in district Kinnaur of Himachal Pradesh by adopting purposive sampling method. Adjustment problems are defined as the problems experienced by an individual in four wide areas viz, Home, Health, Social and Emotional areas as assessed through the tool developed by Bell's Adjustment Inventory by Dr. R. K. Ojha. The results revealed that 1) There is no significant gender-wise difference in adjustment problems faced by tribal school going adolescents with respect to home and health adjustment. Tribal school going male and female adolescents faced more or less the same problems of adjustment in these areas. 2) Tribal schools going female adolescents have significantly higher problems of adjustment in social and emotional areas than tribal school going male adolescents. 3) There is no significant gender-wise difference in adjustment problems faced by tribal school going adolescents with respect to overall adjustment.

In this paper a brief historical context of teacher education in India is also discussed which is characterized by a rich diverse tradition of learning and teaching which dates back centuries. As we all know that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a comprehensive framework for education reform in India. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisions transformative changes in the Indian education system, emphasizing the integration of technology and infrastructure in teacher education institutions (TEIs).

This study investigates the infrastructural and technological readiness of TEIs in Hyderabad in the context of NEP 2020. Data were collected from a sample of 18 Teacher Educational institutions across Hyderabad covering 80 teacher educators including Administrators  with respect to gender from Government as well as Private Teacher Education Institutions. Results  revealed that 12% reported insufficient readiness, 74% reported adequate readiness, and 14% reported comprehensive readiness. The study also found no significant difference in perceptions of readiness based on gender; however, a significant difference was observed with respect to the type of institution. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions to bridge gaps in readiness and align Teacher Education Institutions with NEP 2020 objectives.

Each individual is inherently unique. Self-esteem, also known as self-respect, refers to the confidence in one's worth, abilities, or aptitudes. Conversely, low self-esteem is characterized by a lack of confidence in one’s own worth. Self-esteem is shaped throughout an individual’s life and can have both positive and negative effects, depending on whether an individual has high or low self-esteem. There is considerable research on the effects of low self-esteem, as it often has the most detrimental impact on a person’s well-being. In this context, the investigator aimed to study the well-being of Scheduled Caste students in relation to their self-esteem. For the present study, a survey method was employed, and a sample of 1,632 undergraduate Scheduled Caste students was selected. The data was analysed using Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-tests as statistical techniques. The findings revealed a significant difference in the well-being of students with high and low self-esteem.

This research investigates and compares the Speed Performance of male Kho-Kho and Kabaddi players at the university level. Both sports, rooted in India's cultural heritage, demand exceptional physical and physiological capabilities. The study focuses on motor fitness attributes such as speed.

A sample of 60 players, 30 from each sport, aged 17-24 years, was assessed through standardized tests. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences between the two groups. Kho-Kho players exhibited superior speed (mean time: 7.56 seconds) and agility due to the game's emphasis on rapid directional changes and short bursts of activity. In contrast, Kabaddi players demonstrated higher muscular strength, aligning with the sport's demand for sustained physical effort and strategic gameplay.

The findings underline the specific Speed Performance each sport. This research contributes to the understanding of athletic performance in traditional Indian sports and offers insights for coaches to tailor training programs that enhance player performance. Moreover, the study highlights the potential for further research on optimizing fitness components to elevate the global competitiveness of these indigenous game

Even though the information and communication technology has developed a lot, the use of its advancement in the field of education was not much popular among the students in India, especially at school level. Fortunately, Covid-19 has opened the doors of online education to all school-going children in our country irrespective of their locality, socioeconomic status or any other thing. Subhash Chandra Bose, commonly known as ‘Neta Ji’ commands a respectable place in the annals of freedom movement of India. He had distinguished qualities of unparalleled courage, single minded devotion and patriotism. His only aim in life was to get Mother India out of British Slavery. For this, he not only sacrificed ICS but also his life. He was daring enough to move out of India, particularly when he was put under house arrest. Abroad he mobilized people, built an army, INA and waged war against the most powerful British Empire. The International circumstances during the last phase of second World War proved unfavourable and he, himself died in plane crash under mysterious circumstances. But his words and deeds still inspire the youth of India to do anything for the nation.
