A STUDY OF POLICIES AND PROGRAMMES OF DISABLED CHILDREN IN INDIA

The Constitution of India (1950), Article 41, states the ‘Right to Education and Work’ and Article 45 on ‘Free Compulsory Education for All Children up to the Age of 14 Years’, both Articles are inclusive of children with mental retardation. The Education Commission, 1964-66 directed to move education for persons with disabilities from that of the charity mode to one of the rights mode, hoping that at least 5 per cent of the persons with mental retardation should have received education by 1986. It lay emphasis on making persons with disabilities as useful citizens in their adult lives. The Commission further recommended that both special schools and schools in the integrated school system should include persons with disabilities. The present paper focused on the study of various policies and program of disabled children in India with the prime objectives are (i) To understand the concept of disabled children (ii) To understand the policies of disabled children in India. This paper discusses about the most important asset that any employer possesses which is not land, raw material, or profit, but people; their employees. Thus, it is the responsibility of employer to keep their employees motivated by creating a positive work environment, and providing employees with the opportunities to grow. Motivating employees is an art that requires time and dedication. Motivated employee’s results to retention or reduction in employee turnover, and enthusiastic employees out produce and outperform. This paper study the sources of motivational needs, benefits of motivation, recognition and rewards, and tactics that can be used to help motivate individuals. The data was collected through the telephonic interview of the HR professionals of the selected companies. The major outcomes of this research include that Employee motivation plays an essential role in an organization and it contributes towards effective and efficient working of the organization, resulting to the achievement of overall organizational goals. ATTITUDE TOWARDS USING CYBER RESOURCES AMONG PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS

Information and Communication Technology has rigorously impacted upon the way the teaching and learning is being carried out in the classrooms of twenty first century. Digital learning has opened the doors of a new classroom and has made knowledge and information accessible to everyone in any corner of the globe. Cyber resources are a collection of various online resources. The quality of nation depends on the quality of human capital it has, and ultimately the quality of human capital depends on the quality of education. Teaching and learning process is considered very important in education. Teacher plays a vital role in imparting knowledge and influences the students’ learning and their educational accomplishments. The main objective of this paper is to assess the attitude towards using cyber resources among prospective teachers. Sample of the study comprises of 300 prospective teachers randomly selected. Normative survey method was employed for data collection. The Attitude towards using Cyber Resources scale constructed and standardized by Dr. S. Rajasekar (2010) was used for data collection. Three hypotheses were formulated to guide this study. Student’s ‘t’ test was used to analyse the collected data. Results revealed that gender, educational qualification and discipline do not influence the attitude towards using cyber resources among prospective teachers. The prospective teachers have felt the need to use cyber resources for strengthening their knowledge by accessing advanced materials, reach out their students, and to use cyber resources as an effective teaching tool especially in this pandemic period. Education plays important role in the student’s life and this way changed students learning style. Students are always interested in learning new things and are engaged in creating new ideas and to develop new ideas especially in the subjects of science. To solve this problem, an innovation of new methods of teaching was developed with a new by Richard Such man (1961) like Inquiry training model. This study includes the students of science background and graduate students of science, like those want to learn chemistry subjects. In this model children’s Enters through difficult situation and followed one by one steps up to their satisfaction and teacher guides, motivates the students to show the way or path to students. COOPERATIVE LEARNING: AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR STUDENT’S THINKING STYLE

The features of thinking processes as well as styles of thinking are embodied in a person's innate tendency in processing information, which is referred to as thinking style. In all aspects of social interactions, it is critical to understand a person's thinking style. It has been reported in the literature that if a person understands his/her thinking style, he/she determines which function they can perform better in the team. However, once the group’s thinking style is established, the team will work more motivated, energized and make better decisions. Therefore, the team work or the cooperative learning approach has a close association with the thinking style of the members. In the present paper, an effort is taken to study the thinking Style of Students of higher secondary schools of Dehradun district and to compare the thinking style of the students who are learning with the Cooperative Learning method and with the Traditional Method. The findings indicate that cooperative learning method is effective than the traditional method. ICT is an extensional term for Information technology that stresses the role of unified communication and integration of telecommunications with computers as well as necessary software and hardware tools. Soft Skills are characteristic traits and interpersonal skills that identifies a person’s relationship with others. Certain examples of Soft Skills are Communication, Instructions, Mentoring etc. According to M. Bridget Duffy “Rather than making technology the center piece of care, it’s time to start using it to restore human connections and return people to purpose. The interplay between humans and technology goes to the heart of larger issues, in which soft skills play a key role. The most striking and latest innovations in the field of education is the integration of ICT in education. It has expanded the range of resource available for any subject- specific learning. Teachers play a pivotal role in developing the future generation of students. Therefore, they have to be properly guided so that they could enhance their competences. Proper educational training is the key element to move towards sustainability. This paper emphasizes on the importance and development of Soft Skills with the help of ICT, in the prospective teachers. So, that they can achieve professional competence. This study is based on quantitative research approach. The population of the study was prospective teachers of Patna. 100 samples from 4 different colleges of Patna were selected randomly. Self constructed and validated tools were used for data collection. Findings of the study shows that that there is significant difference in mean scores of communication skills on the basis of gender and their educational qualification while there is no significant difference in mean scores of communication skills on the basis of their marital status of prospective teachers. Significant relationship was found in the score of ICT and Communication skills of prospective teachers. Keywords- Communication, Technology, Competence, Striking.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FINANCIAL LITERACY AND INDEBTEDNESS: A CASE OF UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI STUDENTS

The study objective was to determine the relationship between financial literacy and indebtedness a case of University of Nairobi Students. The study used a descriptive research design. The study was based at the University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus. The study population was 2101. The sample size was 336 students. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The study attained 83% response rate. Money management, financial planning and financial planning were found to correlate strongly and positively with indebtedness and also significant at 5% level of significance. Therefore, they were found to be major contributors to student indebtedness. The study therefore found that money management, financial planning and financial decisions, affect indebtedness of the students at University of Nairobi. The study concluded that financial literacy affected indebtedness of the students at University of Nairobi. The study recommended that the University of Nairobi should roll out financial education, training, advice and counseling programs targeted at its students.

Therefore during school life students should be acquainted with various time management skills. Good time management enables students to utilize their potentialities at maximum level. Time management competency is an art which brings discipline in a student’s life and also optimizes their overall growth. Present study was conducted to compare the time management competency among government and private secondary school students and it was found that time management competency of Private secondary school students is better than government secondary school students. The aim behind present experimental study is to perform detailed investigation to draw inference/ regarding levels of Metacognitive skills in; Senior Secondary Students of respective subject streams, i.e., Science, Humanities & Commerce. ; and few specific Demographics. Samples were collected from Senior Secondary Class Students available in various schools under educational boards such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) in Aligarh district, UP. Among plenty of Schools (Government and Private) available in the district sampling was done considering impact of specific demographics considered in study. Through random sampling, specific numbers of students were selected considering the ratio despite of the strength of respective stream. 500 senior secondary students comprising 254 boys and 246 girls belonging to Science, Humanities and Commerce stream were selected. The metacognitive skill scale developed by Madhu Gupta & Suman, (2017) used for collection of the data. To compare the different groups and to see the significant difference between groups Mean, Standard Deviation (S.D.) t-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were calculated with the help of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The finding of the study revealed that there exist no significant difference in metacognitive skills of students based on Gender, i.e, in Boys and Girls, but there exists significant difference in metacognitive skills of senior secondary students on the bases of their stream selection (Science, Humanities & Commerce), habitat (Rural & Urban), board (UPMSP & CBSE) and types of schools (Government and Private). Socio Economic Status (SES) is one among important indicators to evaluate the health & nutritional status of family. It is a position attained by an individual within a system of hierarchical social structure. The present study examines the moral judgment of school children belonging to different socio economic status & school background.The sample of 100 students from convent school background & 100 from nagar palika background was selected by adopting stratified simple random sampling technique.In case of convent schools, students of low SES group have shown better moral judgment than the students of high SES group. There exists no significant difference in the moral judgment of high and low S.E.S. group students of Nagar Palika background schools.

In modern times this problem has become acute. Millions of the people world over is suffering from this problem. Now there are two ways to deal with this, Catch as much you can and punish them which the world over and Governments are doing. Another approach is going to root cause of drug abuse and dealing with the problem. Though that seems an ideal solution it requires lots of patience and hard work though long term approach would be rewarding it needs consistent efforts in Government and Non-Government support. There have many models to deal with demand reduction approaches. This paper would discuss the legal aspect in dealing with supply control. The role of various national and international agencies dealing with this menace. Role of narcotics control bureau, local police and border guarding agencies. And demand reduction which includes various NGOs Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Health Ministry and various other approaches. After dealing with both the approaches we can reach a mid way solution beneficial to all .at the same time post COVID 19 situation also can be understood properly. Conceptual and research based literature related to life satisfaction scale construction and educational psychology topics were studied thoroughly for developing life satisfaction scale n Educational Psychology. The preparation and standardization of the scale consisted of four major phases such as planning, construction, evaluation and validation. In present investigation fifty items/statements were prepared by the researcher which was reviewed by experts in the field and then first draft of the life satisfaction scale was ready for tryout. For pilot testing, the test was administered on representative sample of 50 college of teacher educators of different institutions keeping in mind that they should have knowledge of life satisfaction content and they must have gone through the content earlier. Achievement test having 50 items with three alternative choices each was given to participants and scoring was done with the help of scoring key. Difficulty Value and Discrimination Power of the test calculated. This test has a value 0.936 (Cronbach Alpha) for test consistency. During the period of lockdown, usage of digital wallets has increased. The digital wallet is a leading concept in India that has been beating credit card handling and is gradually beginning to swap the old traditional payment methods. The Digital wallets are virtual wallets; where one can easily store cash for making offline & online payments. Digital wallet app growth point outs the increasing need for efficient payment methods. These offer a much more secure & faster way for engaging transactions. The start- ups & large corporate businesses are also continuously on the lookout for customer-friendly technologies, thereby giving more value & convenience to the customers; especially during COVID-19 era, to retain old & attract new customers. This study was carried out to find out the factors, which affect consumer preference & frequency of usage towards digital wallets. Using a structured questionnaire with the help of ‘Google form’, the primary data was collected from a sample of 115 respondents. ANOVA and frequency analysis were used to find out the factors that affect the consumer preference & impact of various factors on consumer preference towards digital wallets were also analyzed. We all make decisions of varying importance every day, so the idea that decision making can be a rather sophisticated art may at first seem strange. However, studies have shown that most people are much poorer at decision making than they think. An attempt is made in the present investigation on Decision Making Styles among IT Professionals. 120 IT Professionals working in software companies in and around Hyderabad city constituted to the sample of study. The material used for this study is Decision Making Style questionnaire adapted by Myers-Briggs (1983) consists of 16 statements, it is hypothesized that there would be significant difference among IT Professionals in their Decision Making Styles. The results were analyzed and discussed by using appropriated statistical techniques such as Mean, SD and ANOVA. The results indicate that significant differences are found among IT Professionals in their Decision Making Styles. Based on the results obtained the implications of the findings are discussed. Due to the changing environmental culture at homes, schools, colleges and society at large, the students develop anxiety. In general, academic anxiety is found among the learners of Medical and Engineering studies. The researcher prepared a academic anxiety scale to measure the academic anxiety among medical and engineering learners. The learners with academic anxiety was treated with a peace education model comprising of various activities related to positivity, personality, time management, sports competence, and expectation management. There was significant difference found among the Medical and Engineering Undergraduate learners after the implementation of the peace model. The quasi – Experimental pre-test post -test non- equivalent group design was used to evaluate the development of peace education among engineering and medical learners. The inferential analysis was done by using the independent ‘t test’. The findings of the study indicated that the peace strategies used were successful. In this paper we study a problem of the boundary layer flow through a porous media in the presence of heat transfer. Here we consider high porosity bounded by a semi-infinite horizontal plate. The main aim of this study is to point out local similarity transformations for the boundary layer flow, through a homogeneous porous medium. Here we applying finite difference schemes to find out the numerical solutions of the problem. Corona virus disease (COVID-19) has been the emerging as an unseen enemy transmitted by people-to-people. Not only as the first variant now second variant also terrifying people in all over the world. Most of the countries including Nepal are suffering by COVID-19 pandemic therefore proper consciousness, knowledge, and perception towards COVID-19 is crucial. This study aimed to explore the causes, transmission, knowledge and measures to control of COVID-19 using cross-sectional design by the basis of primary data collection. Convenience sample performed from 18 to 24 April, 2021 to collects 103 sample respondents in Market area of agricultural product, Birtamod. Majority of the respondents were conscious about information, knowledge, modes of transmission, symptoms and measures of prevention in basis of the responses of COVID-19 infection, airborne, touching contaminated objects/surfaces, contact with contaminated animals, fever, coughing/sneezing, shortness of breath, washing hand regularly by using alcohol or soap and water, avoid close contact with anyone who has a fever and cough etc. Respondents were worried about bad effects of COVID-19 mostly in economic, health, social and religious, and educational and psychological areas. All the background variables of the respondents like gender, age, marital status, education, ethnicity, family size and religion are closely related with knowledge and perception of COVID-19. Among them, marital status and religion of the respondents were statistically significant variables. It is advisable to create sound knowledge to cope COVID-19 crisis by providing proper information about bad effects of infection and preventing precautions and measures through local authorities and all concerned stake holders. According to the Maharashtra Economic Survey Report 2018-19, about 36% of the country's sugar factories are in Maharashtra. Every year thousands of women from the asset poor regions migrate to the sugar belt of Maharashtra and Karnataka to cut cane with their husband in the form of Koyata owing to the practice of hiring couples. Migrant cane cutters especially women are most vulnerable and continue to suffer from a number of health and security risks. The vulnerable working conditions and demand of hard labour work affects the health of women. The study will throw a spotlight to reveal a range of health hazards and social vulnerability in migrants’ life. It will aid for a better inclusion of sugarcane cutter women migrants in India. In the 86th amendment 2002, education became a fundamental right under article 21A and Right to Education Act enacted on 4th Aug 2009 and came into force on 1 Apr 2010. The present study aimed to explore the status of implementation of Right to Education Act in one of the districts of Odisha.15 numbers of elementary and primary schools of Khordha district of Odisha were selected as sample schools from which 15 Headmasters and 15 Teachers selected as sample for data collection. For the purpose of collecting data two self made tools were used. First one was a Questionnaire for teachers and headmasters and the second one was a Checklist. Descriptive survey method was adopted for the study. Various dimensions of the RTE act were explored through this study. Major findings of the study showed that the majority of the Headmasters and Teachers have taken their training programme on RTE Act. Very few headmasters went through a long term training programme whereas most of the teachers and headmasters received short term training programmes. Working hours were maintained strictly by the teachers and headmasters. Each school has SMC or SMDC. Corporal punishment was abolished. The major problems of implementation of RTE Act were inadequate teaching staff, lack of infrastructural facilities, lack of proper educational planning and lack of financial resources etc. Keywords: Right to Education Act (RTE Act), Implementation

This paper aims to review the nature of financial counseling and its relevance in retirement planning of an individual. The paper also reviews the relation between the various factors related to financial counseling and its contribution towards retirement planning. The study will use the applicable research tools in order to achieve the results from the study while maintaining the required quantum of accuracy. The study also aims to provide suggestions and preventive measures to the individuals which will help them reduce the risk factor post retirement in the near future. ATTITUDE OF EDUCATED PERSONS’ TOWARDS CHILD LABOUR

Child labour refers to the exploitation of children through any form of work that deprives children of their childhood, interference with their ability to attend regular school and is mentally, physically, socially and morally harmful. So the present study is carried out to investigate the attitude of educated persons’ towards child labour. The size of the sample was eighty educated persons and was collected through random sampling. The sample consisted of 40 males and 40 females of Bhadrak district, out of which 45 were from urban and 35 from rural. A category of self- employed and govt. employed educated persons of 43 and 37 respectively were selected. The researcher adopted descriptive survey method and used self-made questionnaire tool. The Self-made questionnaire was a 5 point ATR scale as strongly agree, agree, cannot say, disagree and strongly disagree consisting of 40 items. The collected data was analyzed through mean, SD and t-ratio. From the above study it was found that there is no significance of difference between male and female educated persons towards child labour, which is a major concern of today’s society. Today’s children live in a very complex environment. They are exposed to various problems in their adolescence period like smoking, alcoholism, drug abuse, sexual abuse, poverty and early pregnancy etc. To face all these challenges, life skill education plays an important role. So life skill education finds a special place in today’s school curriculum. Therefore there is a need to study the attitude of secondary school students towards Life skill education. Hence, the study was taken with two objectives:(1) To study the attitude of secondary students towards life skill education.(2) To compare the attitudinal score towards life skill education between boys and girls. In order to study the above objective the researcher took 100 sample that is 50 boys and 50 girls from Balasore district through random sampling. The descriptive survey method was used by the investigator to carry out research work. He used a 5 point attitude scale by following the Likert attitude scale for the data collection. For the statistical analysis of data the researcher used mean, standard deviation, inferential statistics and ‘t’ test. Results revealed that there is a positive attitude of secondary school students towards life skill education. And another interpretation through ‘t’ test revealed that there is significant difference between the attitude of boys and girls towards life skill education. Thus, the above result clearly revealed that the life skill education has large impact on secondary school students and the girls attitude was better than the boys towards life skill education. Present study comparatively assessed depression in elite male and female sportspersons. To conduct the study, 50 elite male sportspersons (Average age 24.77 years) and 50 elite female sportspersons (Average age 25.12 years) were selected as sample. The criterion for selection of sportspersons was participation in national event as well as securing one of the top three positions. JMPI prepared by Joshi and Malik (1981) was used to assess depression in selected sportsperson. Results reveal that depression shown by elite female sportsperson was significantly of greater magnitude as compared to elite male sportspersons. The main reasons for failure in examination of a large number of students are their limited understanding of concepts in mathematics and science. To addressing this issue the investment in this regard is needed for improving school Libraries, Laboratory and workshops to promote experimental culture in schools. Realising the importance of science the Science laboratory has large importance in school. The present study based on the “Status of Science Laboratories in Secondary school”. The study was carried out to investigate the status of Science Laboratories in Secondary schools of Bhadrak district. Descriptive survey method was used in this study. All the secondary schools of Bhadrak district was regarded as population of the study and 10 schools selected as sample by using random sampling method. Observation schedule, Questionnaire and Interview schedule were used by the investigator as Tools. The collected data was analysed by using frequencies and percentages. Besides quantitative analysis, method of qualitative analysis was also used in the study by investigator. The information obtained by the investigator revealed that majority of schools had not proper Science Laboratory facilities and Most of the schools were using half of the laboratory room for teaching and other half for practical work by which Teachers had less interest in science teaching. Researcher takes initiative for keep on touch students physical fitness to conduct online fitness teaching. Suryanamaskar consist of twelve different postures and is done along with chanting of mantras in every posture. Suryanamaskar is traditionally performed on empty stomach at sunrise which is considered the most spirituality favorable time & facing the rising Sun. Study was find out the “Suryanamaskar on physical fitness parameter of stay at home students”. The present research sample a total number of 20 male stay at home college students were selected the basis of purposively method of sampling technique from M.G.V’s. Arts Science & Commerce College, Nandgaon, District Nashik. The subjects were divided into two group i.e, 10 each experimental and control group. Stay at home college students of the experimental group was given the 30 minutes Suryanamaskar program online Google meet through but the control group did not part in Suryanamaskar program. The duration of Suryanamaskar program was six weeks which was given six days in a week. Pre and post test conducted on the both the groups & data was analyzed by independent sample t-test. It was concluded that the beneficial effect of Suryanamaskar can be applied to college students to improve the core fitness, physical health and sports activities of the students. Topographically Himachal Pradesh is blessed with huge hydropower potential. The catchment areas of all the major rivers and their tributaries are both snow-fed and rain-fed, carrying abundant discharge of water throughout the year. Himachal Pradesh government in collaboration with the Central as well as few neighbouring State governments trying to tap this hydropower potential by constructing huge dams and establishing big hydel projects on all the major river basins. With the tremendous growth of this sector in the last few decades, Himachal Pradesh has been given the name of ‘Power State’ in the country. With enormous development of hydropower in the state, the pressure on the government agencies is not just to make hydro electric power, but to make clean power with good technology use which should be less damaging and more environmental friendly. To generate more and more revenues from the hydropower sector the government is changing its hydropower policy frequently during the last few years, making it friendlier to the private sector and ignoring to some extent the environmental and social issues. In view of all these factors this papers attempts to highlight the environmental implications of hydropower generation and the issue of Dam oustees in Himachal Pradesh. The duty of raising a child in our society is seen to be the duty of the mother. Motherhood is further associated to the female gender and expected as a responsivity of them which is at times seen as of higher priority when compared to other aspirations of the person. In the contemporary world and in the recent past, we have witnessed an increase of the female participation in the workforce. Furthermore, with the changing work environments, we have seen rapid increase of women’s participation in the economy. With this paper we look to observe and analyse, the conceived conflict between traditional motherhood and that of modern economic participation. Whether this conflict is existent and if yes, to what extent is it a challenge in performing either of the roles are the some of the questions we would like to observe the answers to. Whether modern concepts of motherhood are in contention to the traditional defined roles of motherhood when observed in the case of working mothers will be looked upon further. The Government of India has created numerous policies around special education since the country’s independence in 1947. Although the Government of India has attempted to create policies that are inclusive for students with special needs, their implementation efforts have not resulted in an inclusive system of education, nor have they reached their goal of “education for all” across the country. The Government of India needs to bridge gaps in their education system build a strong system of inclusive education in India. Most teachers who teach in an inclusive classroom modify their curricula to meet the special needs of the pupil. Curriculum modifications can include the provision of an emerging technological approaches like audio taped text, shortened assignments and summarized chapters of the textbook as well as tools such as graphic organizers and color-coded chapters to enhance a student's level of comprehension. Modern technology has performed a vital role for teaching pupil with special needs. There has been a significant affect on the learning of pupil with special needs with the use of modern technology. The integration of ICT-Information and Communications Technology, with teacher training programs has been fruitful for the comprehension of pupil with special needs. The research has been conducted on the emerging approaches of technology to conclude the significant affect on the concept learning of the students with special needs, which includes the individual requirements (as for education) of a person with a disadvantaged background like mental, emotional, physical disability or any other developing one. The nature of research is descriptive. The relevant documents were being analyzed to meet the objectives of the study. The study will be important for the researchers and academicians, fruitful for the curriculum developers, policy makers and the study will be significant for the teacher trainers also. Apart from all these benefits it also beneficial for the persons who involved in the managing of workshops and training program for pupil with special needs. Pornography is fuel for global sex trade industry. Main aim of the present study is to study the psycho-social effect of pornography among post graduate students in Kolhapur city and check effectiveness of pornography preventive model on PG students. The survey and experimental method was adopted by the researcher. The data was collected with researcher made questionnaire from N=325 PG students by convenient sampling method. The finding of the study are: More than 3/4 respondents suffer from following psycho-social effects of pornography: Feeling live away from society, Masturbation, Feeling guiltiness, Mental stress, increase in aggressive behaviour, Staring at women/girls as a ‘Sex object’. The Konkan region is one of the richest in biodiversity in the entire state. If development plans are drawn up to endanger this ancient biodiversity, the time may come for the Konkan to face a major natural disaster in the near future. Such fears have been expressed by some senior environmentalists, Konkan has beautiful natural geographical area, mountains, river creeks, 720 km of coastline. The lives of millions of families have started with all these companions. And so with proper planning according to the geographical conditions of the Konkan, various businesses can be a sustainable development in the Konkan. Climate change is one of the major causes for heavy rainfall, floods, nature and cyclones in the last five years. The concept of climate change based farming is inevitable now that the traditional farming methods in Konkan have been changed. Such findings are based on the opinion of some farmers in Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnangiri and Sindhurdurg districts of Konkan. Also, this concept has been presented from the interviews of some experts. Extreme levels of damage to agriculture and horticulture have been caused by cyclones and floods. The nature of change has brought time to think not only of Konkan but of the whole world.

High-energy particles collide with the source target and knock out the atom or molecule from the source target. The ejected atoms or molecules condensed onto a substrate to form a thin film. . Materials to be deposited is converted from the condensed phase into vapor phase by physical means. The vapor transport from its source to the substrate. The vapor condenses on the substrate to form the thin films. Different techniques used for the characterization of sensing material’s properties such as structural, morphological, optical and electronic are described. Near edge X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy is performed to understand the modifications in the electronic structure of fabricated film across the Fermi level. TiO2 thin film fabricated using the thermal evaporation method and characterized. The microstructural, optical properties and electrical properties of fabricated TiO2 film are studied using XRD, AFM and U-V absorption spectra. We found that TiO2 thin film shows the anatase crystalline phase and crystallite size of the film was ? 60.77 nm and microstrain was ? 0.0026. AFM measurement reveals that the average grain size and roughness parameter was ? 84 nm and ? 23.2 nm. The optical band gap was calculated from U-V spectra and it is ? 3.2 eV. We observed from XAS spectra that TiO2 film is anatase structure. The fabricated TiO2 thin films may be used in gas sensing devices. Heritability, in narrow sense, and genetic advance in percentage of mean were worked out separately in F1 and F2 generations. None of the characters showed high heritability estimates. The moderate value of heritability estimate was observed for number of seeds per pod in F2 generation. However, for rest of the characters, in both the generations, low estimates of heritability were recorded. Regarding genetic advance, none of the characters displayed high value of genetic advance in per cent of mean. Water is the most precious natural resource in the world since without it life can not exist. It is possible to survive without food for many days, but living without water even for a single day may have fatal consequences. The diverse uses of water are for the purposes of drinking, cooking, washing, bathing, gardening, irrigation, industry and a lot of other uses. The quality of the water is of vital concern for man since it is directly linked to human health. Drinking water quality is a matter of much concern as it is directly related to public health. A water sample having high turbidity, color, objectionable taste and odor is normally rejected for drinking purpose.. It also should be free from pathogenic microorganisms and chemical substances that are hazardous to human health. Water pollutants, their classification and adverse effects on human health and welfare as well as on aquatic organisms, along with pollution of groundwater and other fresh water systems are enlightened. The quality of water from the ring wells at AGRA was found to be unfit from portability consideration with respect to the concentrations of iron. Lead, was observed to be present in about 50% of the ring wells at higher concentration levels compared to the WHO's limit. The quality of ring well water was not found to be degraded with respect to the concentrations of copper, zinc and chromium. But the quality of ring well water was not found to be fit for drinking by their nickel contents.The hardness values of the supply water were recorded at similar ranges to that of tube well and ring well water. The concentrations of anions viz. chloride, sulphate, nitrate and fluoride, and that of the cations of sodium and potassium were found to be quite low relative to the guideline values for drinking water. Water pollutants may include pesticides like ?-HCH, Endosulfan-?, chlorpyrifos, aldrin, heptachlor and DDT in Yamuna river water. The major pesticide and insecticide pollutants of water bodies are disposed into the river from industrial and municipal sewage discharges. The main Organic Pollutants are - Detergents, Pesticides, Chlorinated solvents, Drug pollution involving pharmaceutical drugs. The highest TDS in the water sample was observed as 2417 mg/L and five pesticides were traced in the water of river Yamuna , where, ?HCH to range from ND to 0.0643 µg/L, Chlorpyrifos concentration ranged from ND to 0.124 µg/L, Endosulfan-? concentration ranged from ND to 0.142 µg/L, Aldrin concentration ranged from ND to 0.018 µg/L, Heptachlor concentration was found to be ranged from ND to 0.026 µg/L, and DDT concentration was found to be ranged from ND to 0.028 µg/L, however, Observed concentration of these pesticides were within the permissible limit (2 µg/L for ?-HCH, 0.4 µg/L for Endosulfan-?, 30 µg/L for chlorpyrifos, 0.03 µg/L for aldrin, 0.03 µg/L for heptachlor and 2 µg/L for DDT) set by BIS, 2012 for drinking water. Education system in India primarily focuses on the learner's academic achievement to secure a job and to achieve materialistic goals. Hence, it has disregarded the importance of happiness and wellbeing for an individual to lead a good life in an absolute sense. Happiness can be defined as the ultimate goal of the entire better for human existence. Although, there is a big sect in our country who is not happy or going through some mental health problems as the UN World Happiness (2021) survey conducted by United Nations’, has placed India at a dismal position for the low subjective wellbeing and happiness of its natives. Research in Education has revealed that teachers can play a vital role as an influencing force for inculcating optimism, trust, and happiness in their pupils. Positive Psychology (PP) and an educational intervention called Positive Education (PE) based on its principles is the manoeuvre that can equip the teachers with this huge responsibility. PE as an educational intervention works on developing a happy, optimistic, creative self in an academic setting with the execution of positive psychology tenets, methods and techniques. However, to achieve the goals mentioned above uniformly throughout the nation, policymakers need to include PE as a mandatory part of the teacher education curriculum so that the teacher trainees study, experience and develop skills to deal with the problems concerned with the subjective wellbeing and mental health issues in their classroom. India has initiated its battle against poor mental health by launching ‘Happiness Curriculum’ in different states. Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi is a well-known poet of Persian language and literature. He was born in 1206 A.D. in Balkh and died in 1272 A.D. in Qonia. His father Shaikh Bahauddin migrated from Balkh anticipating Mongol invasion on Balkh and after visiting so many places reached Qonia, a place situated in Rum and settled there. At the time of migration Rumi was only six years old. After completion of education Rumi started teaching and delivering sermon and very soon became a well-known theologian and jurisprudent. One day, while Rumi was teaching to the students, Shams Tabrez, a native of Tabrez suddenly came and met him. Though this meeting did not last for a long time however, it left ever lasting impact, on Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi. After separation from Shams Tabrez, Rumi disassociated himself from outer world and spent maximum times in the memory of his spiritual guide. One day his grief and agony of separation burst into poetry and thus, a great theologian and jurisprudent suddenly became a poet. Rumi has left several works in which Masnavi-e Manavi is a monumental one and being regarded as Quran in Pahlavi

Swami Vivekananda’s views of Education are briefly presented in this paper. Education does not mean a load of information that is inserted by force into the mind of a child. He was against the system of the contemporary educational system, which fans greed, turned men into slaves, capable of slavery and nothing else. In India divinity was the basic foundation of education based on the philosophy of Vedanta and Upanishads. Education needs to be life building, man-making, and character-making. The process of education is like growing a plant from a small seed. Care is needed during the developing stages. The role of parents and teachers is of greatest importance for the support and guidance. In this respect, Swami ji’s ideas are extremely relevant and needed today. Vivekananda not only proposed high ideals of education but also suggested sound methods for achieving them. The purpose of teaching is to awaken the inner self. Once awakened, anyone will take care of themselves. Man-making education is the need of the day toward off the social customs.
